NOTE:
Admins will act on the basis that ALL players know the game and it's mechanics.
We think that no one goes to an online game without first some practice and know how to play it.
Companies without registered nicknames (as shown in Client List) on it, can be reset without warning!
To learn OpenTTD mechanics, there is a forum/wiki and... a Single Player mode!!
Practice before playing on BTPro, and if you decide to start, READ THE RULES first.


 
If you wish to become part of the BTPro Server Operator family, ensuring that the rules are upheld with fairly and justly,
the willingness to teach new players on how to play the game and to make sure BTPro is one of the most relaxed,
entertaining servers out there for OpenTTD then apply in the Moderator Applications section below!

Also do not hesitate to ask us a question in the forums or when you see us online on one of the servers!

Desert citybuilder town growth 7 years 2 weeks ago #6220

Usually, town growth requirements increase together with town population increase.
But I have faced the situation, in which the above stated is wrong. Sometimes two water towers appear to be in a single town. When the catchment area of the station, to which you deliver water, covers these two towers, then town growth requirements do not change with population increase and town grows at fixed rate.
In attached image you can see that town growth requirements does not correspond to town population. Screenshot taken from server number 14.

our software controller gone bzerk and the fact our servers be on different machines didn't help.
I noticed but only had phone access and I wouldn't risk a server restart on it (would solve it ^^).

Anyway, I think things got back to normal. Thanks for understanding :)

The case described here is very rare. I think it's OK to leave the case unsolved since it is impossible to use the bug for players benefit.
