NOTE:
Admins will act on the basis that ALL players know the game and it's mechanics.
We think that no one goes to an online game without first some practice and know how to play it.
Companies without registered nicknames (as shown in Client List) on it, can be reset without warning!
To learn OpenTTD mechanics, there is a forum/wiki and... a Single Player mode!!
Practice before playing on BTPro, and if you decide to start, READ THE RULES first.


 
If you wish to become part of the BTPro Server Operator family, ensuring that the rules are upheld with fairly and justly,
the willingness to teach new players on how to play the game and to make sure BTPro is one of the most relaxed,
entertaining servers out there for OpenTTD then apply in the Moderator Applications section below!

Also do not hesitate to ask us a question in the forums or when you see us online on one of the servers!

Welcome to the combined change log for servers 1 - 10!

Server 1 - SHORT GOAL TEMPERATE - 150 MIL GOAL

1. Changes to towns/ cities: Initial city sizes reduced, proportion of towns becoming cities is now 1/5 with growth set to slowest (growth can still occur once every 6/8 days if enough is transported to and from the town/city)


Server 2 - LONG GOAL TEMPERATE - 1500 MIL GOAL

1. Changes to towns/ cities: Initial city sizes reduced, proportion of towns becoming cities is now 1/5 with growth set to slowest (growth can still occur once every 6/8 days if enough is transported to and from the town/city)
2. Goal size reduced from 1.5 billion euros to 1 billion euros
3. Boat limit reduced from 100 to 25 (to minimise lag issues, also 25 is plenty before you comment!)


Server 3 - QUICK GOAL TEMPERATE - 25 MIL GOAL

1. Changes to towns/ cities: Initial city sizes reduced, proportion of towns becoming cities is now 1/5 with growth set to slowest (growth can still occur once every 6/8 days if enough is transported to and from the town/city)


Server 4 - SHORT GOAL DESERT - 150 MIL GOAL

1. Changes to towns/ cities: Initial city sizes reduced, proportion of towns becoming cities is now 1/5 with growth set to slowest (growth can still occur once every 6/8 days if enough is transported to and from the town/city)


Server 5 - LONG GOAL DESERT - 1500 MIL GOAL

1. Changes to towns/ cities: Initial city sizes reduced, proportion of towns becoming cities is now 1/5 with growth set to slowest (growth can still occur once every 6/8 days if enough is transported to and from the town/city)
2. Goal size reduced from 1.5 billion euros to 1 billion euros
3. Boat limit reduced from 100 to 10 (boats are not needed on a desert map but left a couple for you all)


Server 6 - QUICK GOAL DESERT - 25 MIL GOAL

1. Changes to towns/ cities: Initial city sizes reduced, proportion of towns becoming cities is now 1/5 with growth set to slowest (growth can still occur once every 6/8 days if enough is transported to and from the town/city)


Server 7 - QUICK GOAL WINTER - 50 MIL GOAL

1. Changes to towns/ cities: Initial city sizes reduced, proportion of towns becoming cities is now 1/5 with growth set to slowest (growth can still occur once every 6/8 days if enough is transported to and from the town/city)
2. Goal size increased from 25 million euros to 50 million euros
3. Map size increased from 512 x 256 to 512 x 512
4. Boat limited reduced to 0 (No need for boats on a winter map)


Server 8 - TEMPERATE FIRS - 250 MIL GOAL

1. Changes to towns/ cities: Initial city sizes reduced, proportion of towns becoming cities is now 1/5 with growth set to slowest (growth can still occur once every 6/8 days if enough is transported to and from the town/city)
2. Goal size reduced from 500 million euros to 250 million euros
3. Map size reduced from 1024 x 1024 to 1024 x 512 (to free up resources for server 9)
4. Number of towns increased from 5 to 10 (this prevents scrap metal from being an overpowered opening on most seeds)
5. Point sharing is currently ON (hence playing in teams will result in the points being evenly split among players as it is with servers 1-7 and 10 currently)


Server 9 - DESERT FIRS - 250 MIL GOAL (New Server)

1. Changes to towns/ cities: Initial city sizes reduced, proportion of towns becoming cities is now 1/5 with growth set to slowest (growth can still occur once every 6/8 days if enough is transported to and from the town/city)
2. Goal size set to 250 million euros
3. Map size set to 1024 x 512
4. Number of towns set to 10 (this prevents scrap metal from being an overpowered opening on most seeds)
5. Point sharing is currently OFF (hence there is no penalty for playing in teams)


Server 10 - QUICK GOAL TOYLAND - 25 MIL GOAL

1. Changes to towns/ cities: Initial city sizes reduced, proportion of towns becoming cities is now 1/5 with growth set to slowest (growth can still occur once every 6/8 days if enough is transported to and from the town/city)
2. Tree growth is now OFF (no more annoying eye destroying trees to see when starting late!)
