NOTE:
Admins will act on the basis that ALL players know the game and it's mechanics.
We think that no one goes to an online game without first some practice and know how to play it.
Companies without registered nicknames (as shown in Client List) on it, can be reset without warning!
To learn OpenTTD mechanics, there is a forum/wiki and... a Single Player mode!!
Practice before playing on BTPro, and if you decide to start, READ THE RULES first.


 
If you wish to become part of the BTPro Server Operator family, ensuring that the rules are upheld with fairly and justly,
the willingness to teach new players on how to play the game and to make sure BTPro is one of the most relaxed,
entertaining servers out there for OpenTTD then apply in the Moderator Applications section below!

Also do not hesitate to ask us a question in the forums or when you see us online on one of the servers!

54 trains and 36 RVs are also not so much.

You actually score higher the fewer vehicles you have... do you know what your CV was at the end of the game, just for comparison?

Tobus: Take a look at my fastest games in toyland, please. I've got three games registered there:

1. Game #540, 64 trains, 31 RVs, CV = ~30 mln €, playing time = ~101 minutes.
2. Game #624, 62 trains, 45 RVs, CV = ~21 mln €, playing time = ~107 minutes.
3. Game #1044, 54 trains, 36 RVs, CV = ~22 mln €, playing time = ~102 minutes.

Games #540 and #624 gave me about 20 points (per game).
In game #1044 I got 51 points.

All three games started from the beginning and - as far as I remember - without any competition.

I still think there is nothing special about game #1044.

Edit:
I checked games #540 and #624 in my gaming history:
- game #540 -> 18 points, game played 2016-02-08
- game #624 -> 15 points, game played 2016-02-25

Yeah, nothing obvious jumps out - I guess it was obvious though it wouldn't be a bug ;)

ST, I got the impression from our earlier conversations about CB scoring that there was just one formulae used for all servers. I know that "population" is a factor in the CB scoring - is it replaced by something in non-CB games?
