NOTE:
Admins will act on the basis that ALL players know the game and it's mechanics.
We think that no one goes to an online game without first some practice and know how to play it.
Companies without registered nicknames (as shown in Client List) on it, can be reset without warning!
To learn OpenTTD mechanics, there is a forum/wiki and... a Single Player mode!!
Practice before playing on BTPro, and if you decide to start, READ THE RULES first.


 
If you wish to become part of the BTPro Server Operator family, ensuring that the rules are upheld with fairly and justly,
the willingness to teach new players on how to play the game and to make sure BTPro is one of the most relaxed,
entertaining servers out there for OpenTTD then apply in the Moderator Applications section below!

Also do not hesitate to ask us a question in the forums or when you see us online on one of the servers!

Why is it some people refuse to realise that you only need 1 signal on the entry to a station? I was playing against a very experienced player today and all of their stations had signals all over the entries! Even when I pointed out there weren't neccessary they believed that "It's quicker" to have them there.

Grrr.

Nothing u can do about that :D

It doesnt get that much worse by having more signals though.. Unless u specifically see a jam being caused by it, else it doesnt matter..

Signals on the entries of ro-ro stations for example, definetely make things worse instantly.

There are bridges for that. Using the rigth kind of signals helps too. If you use (1-way) path signals and leave 1 tile without signals on both sides of the crossing, you'll see that there's way less or maybe no crashes.

I only add signal if too many cargo so I can create round railway to get many trains on the rail,
but it's costly
