NOTE:
Admins will act on the basis that ALL players know the game and it's mechanics.
We think that no one goes to an online game without first some practice and know how to play it.
Companies without registered nicknames (as shown in Client List) on it, can be reset without warning!
To learn OpenTTD mechanics, there is a forum/wiki and... a Single Player mode!!
Practice before playing on BTPro, and if you decide to start, READ THE RULES first.


 
If you wish to become part of the BTPro Server Operator family, ensuring that the rules are upheld with fairly and justly,
the willingness to teach new players on how to play the game and to make sure BTPro is one of the most relaxed,
entertaining servers out there for OpenTTD then apply in the Moderator Applications section below!

Also do not hesitate to ask us a question in the forums or when you see us online on one of the servers!

Saber, I’d say it typical.
1. 2x2 roads, no dead ends, perfectly circled around the middle.
2. 3 bus/mail stations, vehicle.
3. Connection to city with highest passengers/mails, train 7.0 long usually 5.0/2.0 ppl/mails
4. Additional 2 bus/mail stations when they’re accepted in the area.
5. …So on and so forth…
6. When stations start to accept goods, I’m starting delivering. Even though the city growth doesn’t demand that.
Oh, almost forgot. The goods are transferred from factory which is super close to the city. Like, really close as well as the cities from which the ppl/mails are transported from.


Lets hookup someday and ill show you some stuff you might not have thought about which might help your case. Its hard to explain em in text and pictures.

I finally got around to try my idea, and it worked perfectly - after taking about 15 mins to build a town up to 475pop/28 houses, I reset myself and disconnected. Then I reconnected and claimed the same town, got it to 4,000 in 32mins even though I missed a few months of mail/goods.

So one aspect of getting <40min. games is not starting in 1975 - if you start in a town with houses in the high 20s you can save 10mins... either by cheating, like I did, or by entering a game late and hoping the other players are slow.
