Hi Guys,

Not particularly good at CB but today I saw a player, jrambo if you're here , actually demolishing buildings in the city and getting from 6,400 to 8,000 in a matter of seconds.

Am I missing something?

He probably demolished fountains, statues and/or parks. All of them take space, but don't add anything to the population. You can't demolish them too early in the game though, as it will affect the company rating in your town and thus the growth rate.

And about the fast growing, when you're doing it all right (high company rating in town, meeting requirements, enough space and good grid) towns can grow quite fast, especially the last bit.
