Is this end game fair? 12 years 8 months ago #542

Once I was a runner up in a game going till 150 mill. I was worth about 110 mill, the nr 1 company was about 125 mill, so I was trying to get my company value increased fast!

What I found out was this: I had a lot of spare cash on my hand to burn: about 75 million+

I would buy the most expensive loc, then another one. Hook those two up, in tandem. Clone that train, hook them onto each other, and so on, till I had the maximum off 20 squares long a train of.. all locomotives!

Each such train cost me 2.8 mill or so to build, but strangely my total company value would then rise by 1 mill or so! I quickly cloned all my money away into these expensive trains, and could rush towards 150 mill company value! Next check: I won! :woohoo:

But, is it fair?

Not really.. it's exploiting the goal system. Not sure if it's illegal though.. but if people do it often enough it probably should be ;)
