NOTE:
Admins will act on the basis that ALL players know the game and it's mechanics.
We think that no one goes to an online game without first some practice and know how to play it.
Companies without registered nicknames (as shown in Client List) on it, can be reset without warning!
To learn OpenTTD mechanics, there is a forum/wiki and... a Single Player mode!!
Practice before playing on BTPro, and if you decide to start, READ THE RULES first.

 
If you wish to become part of the BTPro Server Operator family, ensuring that the rules are upheld with fairly and justly,
the willingness to teach new players on how to play the game and to make sure BTPro is one of the most relaxed,

how to get more than 6 in mini cb 4k game ? :S is there any suggestion ?
looking u make above 7 point in every game so much irritating ... :P

well, I'm not a CB expert but the major factor is the time taken since you start a company and goal is reached. The faster the better ^^

you can check here and here the best times in the 4K Temperate CB servers and here for the 4K Desert :)

3 days ago I played twice on server 13A (25).

In game #6086 I scored 9 points in 4 years; ~56 minutes of play.
In game #6088 I scored 6 points in 4 years; ~48 minutes of play.
I won both.

First game was finished with better transportation network, higher company value, more money, no loan. In general: game #6806 was much better/much "pleasant" than #6088. I do not know the formula of points calculation (it is a secret ;-) but - in my opinion - when you're reaching 7 points in every game then the time taken is not the major factor.

I know I'm reviving a really old thread, but can someone please explain this:

Game 10761 took 1hr 5min and scored 7 points
Game 10761 took 59min and scored 9 points
Game 10758 took 29mins (wow!) but still only scored 7 points?!?!

Surely time isn't the main factor if you can half the time yet score less points.

I though it might be Company Value/Performance, and since it's early in the new year the 59min game is in the "Fastest 15" list, so I checked:

9 point, 59 min game was $3.5 mil. and 609 performance
7 point, 29 min game was $0.63 mil. and 358 performance

Which *might* explain things (Company Val/Perf. is more important than time), except:

This 50min game got 7 points and the Company was worth $5.5 mil and had 658 performance! Faster, richer and better performance yet scored less points... what gives?

I considered that it might be affected by number of other players in the game, but the 9-point game only had one other player in it and they only joined in 10mins before the end. This is on #13 if it matters.
