I am trying to play a CityBuilder with a goal of 12.000 population. I have a problem. Town needs coal. How do I supply it with coal? There is no Power Plant in the claimed town... I looked online and didn't find an answer.

Hello i would like to see more balanced industry and resources on 8k server - it is a nice server with excelent round lenght and with nice people - but the game itself gets a bit boring when you always transport only same stuff. In attachements you can see actual screenshots from the server. As you can see farms produce incredible amout of resources (usualy 90+90, rare 80+80, exclusively 180+180 - and cattle usualy produces more than it is described around +10). The rest of resources look like a bad choice - especialy steel mines cause they cost 2times as much on transport. Also oil should get closer inspection and some toughts put into it. The idea is to make the game more diverse so you do not have to always check and fight for farms.

Juraj: nothing we can do about it - I said that you should talk with devs of the game about it - we're a OpenTTD community, not game devs.
