NOTE:
Admins will act on the basis that ALL players know the game and it's mechanics.
We think that no one goes to an online game without first some practice and know how to play it.
Companies without registered nicknames (as shown in Client List) on it, can be reset without warning!
To learn OpenTTD mechanics, there is a forum/wiki and... a Single Player mode!!
Practice before playing on BTPro, and if you decide to start, READ THE RULES first.

If you wish to become part of the BTPro Server Operator family, ensuring that the rules are upheld with fairly and justly,
the willingness to teach new players on how to play the game and to make sure BTPro is one of the most relaxed,
entertaining servers out there for OpenTTD then apply in the Moderator Applications section below!

Also do not hesitate to ask us a question in the forums or when you see us online on one of the servers!

Hi there About a week ago the servers were upgraded to version 1.5.0 of openttd, so the only thing you need to do is update your openttd client, when you've done this (download either the btpro client from this site or the vanilla client from openttd.org) you will see that everything will be alright again. there's some recommended step, as in the included ReadMe.txt, wich are:
Installation instructions:
- ** It's recommended to make a full backup of the OpenTTD instalation folder **
- Extract "openttd.exe" and "lang" folder to OpenTTD instalation folder (usually in C:\Program files\OpenTTD). Overwrite them, if necessary.
- Run the game, enter openttd.btpro.nl website info (Username and Password) in OpenTTD Intro menu (username and password are set separately by community).
- Click in the "BTPro Login tool" ingame to login into your account automatically (available too under own nickname in Client List)

the 1.5.0 versions are: 32 and 64 (choose the correct one, depending on your system)

the above step at bold is very important, because that's the executable to run.

note: we also recommend create an empty "openttd.cfg" file in same folder where is the openttd.exe (that will allow you have different versions and each one with own settings)
