does someone know a good signal tutorial?? i get the basics but dont understand the pre-signal and combo signal & exit-signal... i searched youtube but couldnt find much

Ill share my knowledge.

The simplest way of using signals is using the last signals (one-way signals). With this signals you make a one way rail for your train. Also with this signals you are able to make 2 basic types of stations.

1. simple station with entrance and exit on the same side of station. That means you use a cross to connect 2 one-way rails and lead them to station.

2. simple station with entrance and exit on opposite sides of station. That means one-way rail leads to station from f.e. bottom and on the oposite site there is a rail out of station.

The 2nd type of station is much faster because you avoid stopping trains when crossing.
