Hi,
I was on firs aphid city builder server and made a savegame.
I started ottd in single player, loaded the game and played on.
Now the towns dont grow despite I am doing everything correct.
How can I fix this problem?

As far as I know (please sb correct me if I'm wrong), CB games need an appropriate game script on the server side, and - without the server side - you are not able to recreate the same gaming conditions in single player games.

It is about a CB. And what about FIRS (and others) CV? If I understand correctly, you can save the game, then in a single game add to a list of newgrfs all those used by a specific server and load the game in a single mode. Thats correct?

BusyBee and CB games need game script on server side.

CV and Cargo games do not need the script to recreate the same gaming conditions, but you will be not able to see your progress (no commands like !cv) and the game will not end when reaching the goal.

Anyway, if you want to train CV/Cargo game in single player mode, you can:
1. Enter the server you're interested in, save the game and just load it in single player mode.
or:
2. Start new single player game with random map and all NewGRFs enabled and correctly configured (which is far more complicated than point 1).

Have you meet some interchangeable sets (or single pics) for Vinilla and FIRS industries' pictures? Some industries are looking similiar (like Metal Workshop and Foundry or Rubber Plantation and Fruit Plantation) that causes a little inconvenience for me. It seems there is a strong possibility for alternative pictures to exist and trying to find , but without some results yet.
And such sets should work with multyplayer games, because dont interfere with servers setup, but only individual configs, right?

You are right that exchanging some graphics in your local client should work with multiplayer games. But I didn't spot any sets replacing FIRS graphics.
