hi BTPro team,

I have a question in regards to the amount of points scores on server 12A, this is usually 4 or 6 points, Where in the past this was almost double.
For the CB high score rank it is difficult to gain a higher spot since i am managing 5.9 points on average per hour, whilst on other servers the amount of points scores is much higher up to 60 points. Making an acerage of 20+ hourly average possible.

Is there a specific reason that the points scores on server 12a has been adjusted downwards?

Hi Jouke,

The score formula hasn't been changed for the last few years. So it's kinda strange that this has changed according to your investigation in my opinion.
I have no idea why this is your feeling, but as far as I know (as the only programmer here), the formula hasn't been changed in years!

When I look at the scores on server 12 (last game november 2023) the points scored were usually around 7/9 for the win.
Currently on 12a the scores are regulary 4 Points with 6 or 7 points occasionaly.

I am not sure what could have could have caused the Point reduction, my guess was that this was done on purpose. However as you stated this is not the case.

I think this could have to do with the updated OpenTTD Game mechanics Jouke. At some point OpenTTD got a MAJOR upgrade, since then some things changed.
