Hello,

My friends and I would like to create our own private server but using the BTPro game modes...
Is there any way to get the mods/programs that the BTPro servers use to host a private one for our own?

Hi Sorrol,

It depends... The scripts that BTPro uses are partly custom made, these custom made ones are not available for download, but the scripts which the custom ones are based on are usually available for download from bananas of openttd without the BTPro specifics. Furthermore we are using background programs to be able to let the server "interact" with the players, most of the custom made scripts are made for that purpose.

A while ago we have been thinking about providing servers for people privatly, which means you get everything that BTPro is offering, with the settings that you choose, hosted on a BTPro server, which is rented by a private person (password protected server) for a small fee.

Is this something that you could be interested in?

There are a number of different game scripts available from bananas, which one is you script based on?

We have:

- Citybuilder (by Aphid)
- Neighbours are Important (by Zuu)
- BusyBee

And the CV goal is our own...

However, gamescripts aren't able to let the game restart when a goal is reached or to sent chat messages to players, you need a admin port script for that...

Anyway, put some research into it and I think you will be able to manage.
