As we have probably noticed FIRS has changed quite dramatically from before.
Including varied (and often lower) production, lower cargo payment and generally everything is more difficult. Meaning that even the 150 million server could frequently take longer than 20 years.

I was wondering maybe the goals could be reduced or you get more points for the same number of years or something to keep a fairly level point-scoring system, otherwise FIRS will be played even less as someone may get 1 or 2 points for a better game.

I just played it for the first time and it seemed easier than before, 12 years to complete the 150m.

Looks to be a bit more focused on getting the engineering supplies and farming supplies to the oil wells/forests then their production goes up very fast.

everyone seems to play it a bit different, could just take a bit to get use to.

Just wondered if scoring system has changed on FIRS? I just finished a team game in 26 years and instead of both getting 24 points we both got 12. The FIRS scoring used to give all players both the full amount of points. Could someone let me know if it is a delibarate change or an error since some of the changes on the servers over the last week or two?

Ah damn... I didn't think about that when i migrated the openttd instances to a new server :-S my bad.

I will change your points directly in the database when i get to work. And offcourse will change it back to what it was, that is both 24 points.
