Last night I played a game on the FIRS server #30. I reached the 14000 population with my town and even went above up to about 16k. But the game wouldn't register my win condition.I eventually went to bed. Today I checked, doesnt even show on the website that I played or won

Yeah... Appologies, but we are experiencing some hack on our web service. I had to harden a lot of things on the server, and it might have happened that during your game the connection to the database got lost, resulting in the behaviour your were / are experiencing.

I'm trying to keep the service running without to much interference, but it looks like your game was a "victim" of the measures I took to stop the exploit / hack.
