Hi,
I'm playing on BTPro with the current macOS client and suddenly near the end of the game (around 1977, I was at ~85 % of the goal) my money started draining extremely fast.

In the Finance window it shows up as huge negative amounts in **Capital expenditures → Other** (in Czech client it says „Další“).
This line alone is taking ~9 million per year while everything else (operating profit, construction etc.) is fine. Cash graph is a perfectly straight line going down, company value crashed from 85 % to 0.

What I tried:
- Autoreplace was enabled only for ONE single locomotive type shortly before the problem started. Cost of that replacement was less than 5 % of company value.
- I immediately turned autoreplace completely off and sold the last loco.
- No vehicles are being replaced anymore, no “go to depot” orders anywhere.
- Debt is fully paid, no loss-making vehicles, no unused stations.
- No warnings or penalties visible in the Goals window.
I have done autoreplace many times in previous games and never saw anything like this. This only happens in the very late game phase.

Is this a known GameScript behaviour or a bug in the macOS client? It completely ruined the game even though I did nothing wrong.

Actually a good question what could cause this. It seems to be a OpenTTD error instead of a Gamescript error. The Gamescript is not able to drain your money (at least, there is no code for this in our gamescript).

If it's an internal OpenTTD problem, then we as BTPro might not be able to do anything about that. A lot of changes have been made in 15.x, and the OpenTTD devs are still ironing out issues. Since it almost can't be on our side, I go for that... We have to wait for a OpenTTD update with a bug fix I'm afraid.

unfortunately im in the same boat with this every game i've played this happens since this new update an i cant figure it out all the money
that i make is put into capital expenses an now i cant progress at all an i just rage quit

I have the same problem on windows and even opened a bugticket for OpenTTD but was not able to recreate without this game script.

I realized that for me randomly "Adv. Regularly" gets activated in new cities, where I build stations. Money drain is gone when I deactivate it.

So uhm, ok… is this only on 1 specific server or does it happen on all servers as far as you guys know?

We are still using an old gamescript, but it could be that something has changed in OpenTTD newest version which needs a change in the GS to operate normally again. Could also have to do with the latest client made by the n-Ice team (fork of Novapolis client).

Please let me know if this is 1 gamemode only or if it happens on all servers.

I had these problems on Servers 8 and 24. So, both, CB and CV. Didn't play on other servers.
