A portable version of the client in on the way. Currently don't have much time to put in it. Be patient.

Hi there. First, I'm voting for Linux client too.
Second, aren't you violating GPL license? You must provide source code for your work that's based on OpenTTD. If you do, then (I guess) there will be no problems with compiling your client on Linux.

And, if you can, providing stand-alone .patch is good, so if I, for example, make .PKGBUILD for Arch Linux or ebuild for Gentoo, there will be possibility to download openttd sources from distro's mirrors and only apply your patch.

Hello :-)

I don't know if you noticed it, but the source code is actually included in the download of the client. The file in which the source code is present is a DIFF file (which is a patch file).

So, short answer: NO :-) we are fully compliant with the license :-)

hi :)

as Frank said, code changes are included (diff file), wich respects fully OpenTTD license.

As said here , it's a special BTPro OpenTTD 1.3.0 client for Windows. About Linux/mac versions, there's the problema of dependencies - solution is --enable-static, wich I'm still trying to figure it out :D.

Anyway, I'm working on making a diff file that can be applied and code compiled later among all OS's.
The current one uses some Wininet functions, making it Windows specific, but still possible to execute the exe under Linux and mac using Wine. I'll include the OS cross compatible diff file, when complete :)

Enjoy the games
