I think it would be nice to make several servers, each with different settings. And maybe one very hard? (not "hard" like #K3:P) F.E. One server with all settings harder? Slopes, big running costs, expensive trains and so on? All in one:D I was playing something like that, and its nice fun to earn something at all:D But of course lower goal. U can add scores for CI libe CV and CB;)

About CI goal:
I prefer income more that 3000 pounds (with start only with 100)
It cannot be only income for 3 months, cause u can stop trains just before station and then let them all go... Maybe hmm average for one year? Hmm... What do u think?

There's a lot of possibilities for income goals.
1 quarter, 4 quarters, 1 full year (Jan 1st - Dec 31st).

I think 4 quarters might be best. Monthly and maybe even quarterly are quite easy to fake, as Mirime said. And full years is perhaps a bit unfair. You might miss the required income by just a tiny bit on Dec 31st, but if it would be measured from April 1st to March 31st you'd easily get it, imo it would be unfair to make the player wait for Dec 31st again.

The amount of income needed to get to the goal needs some thinking. Desert is a lot easier than other climates and will need higher goals. Desert already is faster on CV, because of lumbermills, the effect of lumber mills will be even bigger on income-based goals, since building them doesn't affect your income negatively, as it does on CV.
