Upgraded this morning and have lost the automatic token generation and hovering over stations and industries no longer shows what is there. Not sure what else has changed but have I done something wrong?

This is because previously you had the BTPro client installed over your normal OpenTTD version. With the upgrade of OTTD, you also will need to download the new BTPro client, which will come out soon. Just keep an eye on this website.
Both those features will be back in the new client.
